Daniel Van Lierop is a multidisciplinary artist and designer-maker, combining hands-on making with industrial manufacturing processes to create functional objects. His practice is grounded in an interest in materials, craftsmanship, creative research and practical problem-solving.

His work explores how accessible manufacturing methods can be paired with traditional craft techniques to create thoughtful, everyday objects. Through this approach, Daniel looks for ways to simplify production, make better use of available resources and challenge conventional approaches to design and making.

Alongside his independent practice, Daniel collaborates with other creatives and manufacturers to develop and deliver projects from initial ideas through to production. Collaboration, experimentation and an understanding of different processes are central to his approach.

Since 2020, Daniel has exhibited his work nationally and internationally.
